Last GOP Debate Before Iowa Caucus

The final Iowa GOP Presidential Primary debate before the January 3, 2012 Iowa Caucus will be held tonight at 8 PM CDT in Sioux City, Iowa. Fox News will host and air the GOP Primary debate which will
include the top three Iowa contenders Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul and Mitt Romney along with trailing single-digit candidates Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum, and Jon Huntsman.

Christmas Party!

 OK, so maybe I'm being a lil' over optimistic about us having a White Christmas, but it's about to be Christmas time none-the-less! We have not finalized the venue for our event, but I promise it will be a great venue and an event you won't want to miss. But I wanted y...ou to save the date of Saturday December 10th, for our BCYR Christmas Party and officer elections. If you would like to serve on our board, please let us know by posting on Facebook the position you would like to serve. We need and would love to have you serve with us during this CRITICAL 2012 election year that is almost upon us. Be sure and RSVP so we will know how many people to prepare food & drinks for. -John Cox

John wrote: "We weren't able to reserve the Miramont venue, as it was just too expensive.   And even though we did have a sponsor, I don't believe he was realizing it was going to cost about $1,500 and I'm not about to make him pay that much for our Christmas Party.   So, what I've decided we will do is we are going to meet Tuesday night at B&J's Pizza & Brewhouse by Post Oak Mall & Hwy. 6.   The BCYR will pick up $100 of our tab and anything over that we'll divi up amongst ourveslves.   However, if you want to drink alcohol, that will be seperate.    I"m about to edit this event to reflect the new changes.  I apologize about the changes, but we are going to make it a fun night no matter what.  :-)"

November Meeting

Howdy Everybody!

 

I hope everyone had a good and productive week and that you picked up the slack for the American economy for all the lazy selfish bums sitting around smoking pot, raping & uriniating on each other while they protest the "1%." 

 

Just wanted to give you a quick reminder about our upcoming meeting on Monday evening. Between now & primary election day, I am going to try to invite as many of the candidates for U.S. Senate that I can to our meetings, so they will have an opportunity to speak to you & you can get to know each of them and make an informed vote for the GOP nomination for the U.S. Senate.   We have many fine people running for the GOP nomination for Senate from Texas, and I hope you get to know each of them, as they are all good people.

 

Our guest speaker this month will be Jeanie Killgore, who is with the Ted Cruz campaign.  She will be visiting with us and telling us why she believes we should be supporting Ted Cruz.  Ted is the former Solicitor General for the state of Texas who has argued on behalf of Texas on several nationally important cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, and won.  To name a couple of these cases, one is the Ten Commandments case, where the Supreme Court ruled that it is not unconstitutional for government bodies within the U.S. to display publically the Ten Commandments in the Bible.   Another case that Ted Cruz won on behalf of Texas was the Medellin v Texas case where he was arguing against the "World Court" of the United Nations and the President of the United States.  It was a case where the World Court was demanding that Texas turn over it's soverignty to the World Court in a death penalty case involving a foreign national who had murdered a Texan.

 

We also have a lot to discuss & plan with regards to our Christmas Party, Board elections and the Brazos County Reagan Day Banquet that will be coming up in February.  So, make whatever arrangements you need to to make our meeting.  Again, we are meeting at C&J's BBQ in Bryan, in "the bend" on Texas Ave. at 6:30.
